Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and RSVPme.xyz, also referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our.” By creating an account, creating an event, submitting an RSVP, accessing an event page, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use RSVPme.xyz on behalf of a company, organization, household, group, venue, or other person, you represent that you have authority to do so and to bind that party to these Terms.

2. What RSVPme.xyz does

RSVPme.xyz is a simple event management system. Hosts can create event pages, share event links, collect RSVPs, view RSVP details, and send event-related updates to people who RSVP. Guests can use event links to view event details and submit RSVP information.

RSVPme.xyz is not the host, organizer, sponsor, venue, caterer, insurer, security provider, transportation provider, or emergency contact for any event created through the service. Hosts are solely responsible for their events.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create a host account or create an event. If a minor attends or responds to an event, the host is responsible for obtaining any required permission from a parent or guardian.

3A. AI agents, LLMs, and automated tools

RSVPme.xyz is intended to be usable by both humans and authorized automated tools. You may use AI assistants, large language model agents, agentic bots, API clients, MCP connectors, CLI tools, or similar automated tools to access or use RSVPme.xyz if those tools are acting at the direction of, and for the benefit of, an authorized human user.

If you authorize an AI agent or other automated tool to use RSVPme.xyz, you are responsible for that tool's actions as if you took those actions yourself. This includes events created, event details submitted, links shared, RSVPs accessed, messages sent, purchases made, settings changed, and any personal information disclosed to the tool.

Automated tools may only access accounts, events, RSVP information, APIs, connectors, or other service features that the authorizing user is permitted to access. Automated tools may not scrape, harvest, spam, overload, probe, reverse engineer, bypass security, evade rate limits, misrepresent their authority, or access RSVPme.xyz in a way that violates these Terms or the law.

We may provide APIs, connectors, MCP servers, command-line tools, documentation, or other interfaces for authorized automated access. We may limit, suspend, block, or require additional verification for automated access that creates risk, security issues, abuse, excessive load, or legal concerns.

Third-party AI tools are not operated by RSVPme.xyz unless we expressly say otherwise. If you connect, instruct, or disclose information to a third-party AI tool, that tool's terms and privacy policy also apply.

4. Event pages and shared links

Event pages are intended to be shared by link. They may be configured to discourage search indexing, but anyone with the link may be able to view the event page. Do not post sensitive, confidential, regulated, or highly private information on an event page.

Hosts are responsible for making sure event details are accurate, lawful, and appropriate for the people receiving the link. Hosts are also responsible for any permits, permissions, safety precautions, venue rules, food or alcohol rules, accessibility needs, age restrictions, and other legal or practical requirements related to the event.

5. RSVP information and guest communications

Guests may submit information such as name, email address, phone number, attendance status, guest count, what they are bringing, and notes. Hosts can view RSVP information for their events and may use RSVPme.xyz to send event-related updates to people who RSVP.

Hosts are responsible for having a lawful and appropriate reason to collect RSVP information, invite guests, and send event messages. Hosts may not use RSVPme.xyz to send spam, unrelated marketing, deceptive messages, harassment, or messages to people who did not reasonably expect to receive event-related communications.

We do not guarantee that emails, reminders, updates, RSVP confirmations, or other messages will be delivered, opened, read, or acted upon.

6. Fees, payments, and no refunds

RSVPme.xyz may be offered for free, for a one-time event fee, for a subscription, for promotional pricing, or through paid add-ons or premium features. Any fees will be shown before you complete a purchase.

If you purchase a paid feature or paid event, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the disclosed amount, plus any applicable taxes and fees.

All payments are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law. We do not provide refunds if you cancel an event, close RSVPs, do not receive RSVPs, are dissatisfied with attendance, stop using the service, or fail to use a paid feature.

If we later offer recurring subscriptions, the recurring billing terms, renewal period, price, and cancellation method will be disclosed at checkout. Subscription cancellation will stop future renewal charges, but it will not create a refund for amounts already paid unless required by law.

7. User content

“User content” means event titles, descriptions, photos, addresses, directions, RSVP submissions, notes, messages, and other content submitted through RSVPme.xyz.

You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant RSVPme.xyz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, transmit, format, and process that content as needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content and to allow us to use it as described in these Terms. We may remove content or restrict access if we believe it violates these Terms, violates the law, creates risk, or may harm RSVPme.xyz, users, guests, or third parties.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use RSVPme.xyz to:

• Violate any law, regulation, contract, privacy right, publicity right, intellectual property right, or other right.
• Create or promote unlawful, deceptive, unsafe, exploitative, hateful, violent, or abusive events or content.
• Send spam, phishing messages, fraudulent invitations, misleading event updates, or unrelated commercial messages.
• Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the service, scrape the service, probe security, or access systems or data without authorization.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority, event, organization, or relationship with guests.
• Collect or expose sensitive personal information unless you have a lawful reason and appropriate safeguards.
• Use an AI agent or automated tool to access, use, disclose, retain, or train on event or RSVP information beyond what the authorizing human user is allowed to do.

9. Third-party services

RSVPme.xyz may rely on third-party providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, maps, analytics, payments, storage, and other functions. Your use of RSVPme.xyz may involve those third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, errors, or terms.

10. Intellectual property

RSVPme.xyz, the software, design, branding, text, workflows, and other service materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of the service or permission to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse it.

11. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on RSVPme.xyz infringes your copyright, contact us at legal@rsvpme.xyz with enough information for us to identify the content and evaluate your complaint. We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

This section is intended as a starting point for copyright complaints. If RSVPme.xyz designates a DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office, the designated agent information will control for DMCA notices.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, events, event pages, messages, or access to the service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, misused the service, failed to pay amounts owed, or harmed RSVPme.xyz, users, guests, or third parties.

You may stop using RSVPme.xyz at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms will continue after your account or access ends, including provisions about fees, user content licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, disputes, and miscellaneous terms.

13. Service availability and changes

RSVPme.xyz may change, add, remove, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We may also change pricing, storage limits, email limits, access rules, or other service details. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or permanent availability of the service.

14. Disclaimers

RSVPme.xyz is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that guests will RSVP, attend, bring anything, provide accurate information, receive messages, or behave appropriately. We are not responsible for event cancellations, event safety, guest disputes, host disputes, weather, travel, venue issues, food or alcohol issues, injuries, property damage, or any offline event conduct.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RSVPme.xyz and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, personal injury, property damage, or event-related losses.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to RSVPme.xyz for the event or service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose, or $100.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RSVPme.xyz and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your events, your content, your messages, your guests, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and RSVPme.xyz agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting legal@rsvpme.xyz.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree that any lawsuit or court proceeding will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, unless a different venue is required by law. You and RSVPme.xyz waive any objection to those courts based on inconvenient forum or lack of personal jurisdiction.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use of RSVPme.xyz after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any checkout terms shown at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and RSVPme.xyz regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
